There must be a whole group of artists who specialize in illustrating foreign language books with weird, uninteresting drawings. The First 1000 Words in German Sticker Book is full of these drawings. Each page has a big drawing and around the border are German words, many of them with an empty square where you need to find the sticker that matches.

It’s not hard to find the sticker as it has the word on it and they are grouped on the sticker page by the page they belong on. But I guess this is for kids, so I won’t complain too much.

Despite being for kids, this is a pretty good book. It’s a good change of pace from other vocabulary lists and who doesn’t like stickers?
